New Year

Although this is a bit belated, happy new year to you! I had a pretty quiet evening, but it was enjoyable. I could only come up with one resolution, which was simply to just 'reinvent'. 

I like the idea of it being just one word - no limitations, no boundaries, nothing specific. The freedom of it really appeals to me, and it's made the start of 2009 pretty special for me already.

I haven't been doing much since I last blogged - just catching up with friends, the usual. That's all I really have planned for the rest of my time back home, with the exception of going to the beach for a week on the 11th with a friend. Hopefully I can have a lot of fun there, just having fun and forgetting about the world.

Recently I've been staying up a bit later than usual at night, and just taking everything in. It's amazing to think that so much has been created, destroyed and modified. I went stargazing with a friend the other day and I had one of those 'wow' moments - it was something I needed to have, just when I thought everything was already turning my world upside down.

I hope you get the most out of 2009 - it's going to be a great year, I can feel it.

Hello there. I'm pretty new to this whole 'blogging' thing but I'm going to try my best not to bore you with my life's antics. I find that it's easier for me to express myself through words rather than other forms of media.

Although I have no intentions of writing as a profession, I do like the idea of writing to express myself and interacting with people from around the globe.
